Family tradition of label printing in the 4th generation
The great-grandfather Wilhelm Mägerlein already printed labels for the Behring factories in 1950 – back then as wet glue labels. Manfred Mägerlein continued the company from 1960 to 2016 and produced the first self-adhesive labels as early as 1986. His sons Dietrich and Robert Mägerlein followed him.
After a short break, the two are back! They founded the MC-Line in March 2019. With Maximilian and Michael Mägerlein, the 4th Mägerlein generation is now active in label printing and forms the basis of the team – MC-Line! The family tradition is passed on!

Robert Mägerlein studied economical science at the Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz with exchange terms at the IAE in Aix-en-Provence (F) and the Cranfield School of Management (GB). 1992 to 1995 Robert worked as a consultant of medium sized companies, especially trading companies, in quality management, organisation and EDP.
In his MBA-studies at the INSEAD in Fontainebleau he could improve his knowledge about economical methods and tools and develop further die Management-Skills.
Robert used successfully these and other skills during the last 20 years as owner and managing director of Eukerdruck, Marburg and Pharma Druck, Ottendorf-Okrilla.
He and his family sold the companies to CCL Industries Ltd., Toronto, in 2016 and in 2017 he left CCL to start Maegerlein Consult.
In addition, Robert Mägerlein is general manger and partner at tec4check, Marburg.
On a voluntary basis Robert is president of the VskE e. V. since 2000.

Dietrich Mägerlein is engineer of printing technology (FH). After his studies in Munic and several internships in Germany and USA, he learned the printing business from scratch in his family’s company. He introduced technicus innovations in the production of labels, the prepress and the sheet offset printing. He also developed new products for the pharmaceutical customers.
Since 1992 he was owner and managing director of Eukerdruck, Marburg and Pharma Druck, Ottendorf-Okrilla. He was responsible for sales and technical innovations.
After the sales of the companies to CCL Industries LTD, Toronto in 2016, he became sales manager healthcare in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In März 2019 he joined Mägerlein Consult as partner. His expertise covers sales, production and technical development of products and processes.
In addition, Dietrich Mägerlein ist general manager and partner at tec4check GmbH, Marburg.

Max Maegerlein, son of Dietrich, is our site manager in Marburg. He also manages the sales and purchasing in Marburg.
He first worked in the label industry in the purchasing of CCL Label Marburg. He worked on several projects and customer auctions.
